Principal Dentist
Dr Nicole Yuen was born and raised in Brisbane, completing her schooling at Brisbane Girls Grammar. Since completing her dentistry degree at Griffith University in 2012, Nicole has worked in public and private practices around Queensland and with the Royal Flying Doctors Service. She returned to Griffith University in 2015 to complete her Masters degree in Implantology under the guidance of periodontal (gum) specialists and prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) specialist.
She loves all facets of dentistry, however her passions lie in treating children (pediatric dentistry) and implant dentistry, assisting patients in overcoming dental anxiety and achieving the smile they have always dreamed of.
Nicole is enthusiastic and patient focused. Her friendly, gentle and calming nature also assists anxious patients to feel comfortable when they come to visit.
To broaden her horizons and to gain professional development, Nicole regularly attends many educational events. Nicole is passionate about the latest innovations and developments in dentistry and has now incorporated implant dentistry into her scope of dentistry with 2 years of training at University level.
Nicole is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, Queensland Dental Association, Australian Pediatric Society, Risus Dental Study group and AMARA study club.
Outside the dental surgery, Nicole enjoys playing touch football, teaching piano to young students and exploring new cafes for brunch on the weekends. Nicole is also passionate about volunteering her time to aid refugees and the underprivileged.
